We started off Alexa & Steven’s wedding day at Alexa’s parents home in Poland. When we start in a home with lots of natural light that is pretty and clean it makes it so easy to get great photos of the bridal details and getting ready.
We then headed to Stambaugh Auditorium for a first look. We could tell Steven was a little nervous, but he remained pretty cool and collected.
Nothing makes us happier than when our clients listen to our advice about the timeline. Alexa knew she wanted to go to multiple locations and knew she didn’t want her day to be stressed, so she planned for a first look and lots of time for us to take photos.
The ceremony took place at St. James Episcopal Church in Boardman Park. Alexa & Steven recited their own vows during the ceremony, which really made the ceremony so personal.
Alexa’s parents were celebrating their 38th anniversary on the same day, so we love the photo they wanted to take with the chalkboards saying “38 years” and Alexa & Steven’s chalkboard saying “38 minutes”. It was such a cute and personal photo.
After the ceremony and family formals we headed to The Lake Club in Poland for their reception. They planned a cocktail hour at this time so that we had even more time to take photos before the reception started. All of their reception decor was so pretty! We especially liked the “for richer for poorer” favor with the chocolate coin and lottery ticket.
One of our favorite moments was during their first dance when their bridal party and parents stood around them and threw confetti. It was so much confetti and was so cool for photos!
Congratulations again Alexa & Steven!
