We started off Alyssa and Pat’s wedding day at Profiles Salon in Boardman for some finishing touches of hair and make-up. We then went to Alyssa’s parents home for her getting ready photos.
Their ceremony took place at St Christine Parish in Youngstown. They decided to do an unplugged ceremony, which we so appreciated. For those who don’t know an unplugged ceremony is when you ask your friends and family to stow their cameras and phones away and not take any photos. This allows guests to actually be present in the moment with the bride and groom and not view the ceremony through a phone, ipad, or camera. It was pretty incredible to photograph a ceremony where guests weren’t leaning in the aisle (or worse yet standing in the aisle) getting in the way of our photos. It was also incredible to look into the pews and see everyone actually witnessing such a special moment with their own eyes.
It was a cold December day, so we were thankful Alyssa had shawls for her and her bridesmaids when we photographed them at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park. We love this time of year. The park was decked out with Christmas lights, which we loved how they photographed. Alyssa’s bouquet made by Sweet Arrangements Florist was definitely one of our favorite bouquets of the year!
Their reception took place at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center. Their decorations were so classy and beautiful!
Congratulations again Alyssa & Patrick!
