Dina & Dan live in Florida, but came into town to do their wedding ceremony. We did all of our corresponding through email and phone, but we could tell that Dina was very sweet and very excited to work with us.
Dina & Dan were married on the same day as Dan’s parent’s, which we thought was so cool. We were glad to be able to incorporate that into a photo with their rings and with Dan’s parent’s wedding announcement from 1971. The cake cutter that they used was actually the same one that Dan’s parent’s used on their wedding day too.
We absolutely loved Dina’s vintage inspired dress and veil. She looked beautiful on her wedding day.
Their ceremony took place at St Charles Catholic Church. It was a very nice ceremony where the priest talked about how when the rest of the world is focusing on what makes us different it’s great to see two people from different backgrounds come together.
After the ceremony we did some family formals then headed to Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park for more formals and photos of Dina & Dan. We also had the opportunity to photograph in Deyor Performing Arts Center. Dan’s grandfather actually used to work there, so it was nice to be able to do some photos there as well.
Their dinner took place at Caffe Capri in Boardman. It was a nice intimate dinner with their immediate family.
We wish we could have been there to photograph their reception in Florida the following weekend. Congratulations again Dina & Dan!
