A huge part of wedding photography is all about circumstances. Sometimes circumstances are not in our favor and we have to fight all day to overcome them and sometimes, like in Jason & Eileen’s wedding day, the circumstances all work out in our favor.
We started off at St Dominic Parish where their ceremony took place. The trees in the front of the church were all blooming, so we ran it by Eileen to photograph her details outside. She loved the idea and was so thrilled when we showed her what we got.
The lighting for their ceremony was so nice that we were able to use natural light, which was awesome. The progression of Jason’s face while seeing Eileen walk down the aisle was priceless!
After their ceremony we headed to Ford Nature Center in Mill Creek Park. That was actually our first time photographing wedding formals there, so that was really nice. The stone and columns there are gorgeous. They brought their dogs to the park, which we of course loved! We’re huge dog people and really jive well with fellow dog lovers.
In the parking lot of their reception venue, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall, there were very pretty blooming trees, so we were thankful to be able to get a few more photos there of the two of them.
Their reception was a blast! Receptions are always so much fun, especially when everyone dances and celebrates. Our favorite moment of the reception was when DJ Brian Price played “Come on Eileen”. Everyone went nuts and Eileen was loving it!
Congratulations again Jason & Eileen! You guys are such an awesome couple and we really enjoyed working with you guys and your friends and family. Thanks so much for making us feel so appreciated.
