We had a great time working with Natalie & Alex on their wedding day. They were married at St Charles Catholic Church in Boardman. They wanted to do a receiving line as well as bubbles and since we had to be out of the church by a certain time they opted for a first look to get most of their family photos done before the ceremony.
Alex’s best man sadly passed before their wedding from cancer. We thought it was so nice that they included his memory into their wedding by wearing yellow ribbons and by having ribbons out so that guests could wear them at the reception too. Alex’s honorary best man actually gave two toasts, one for Gregory and one for himself and that had the whole room in tears.
After their ceremony we went to the Poland Library for a few photos then headed to The Lake Club for more photos of the two of them and bridal party. Their reception was a lot of fun. One of our favorite moments from their reception was Alex’s grandfather’s speech. He talked about how he remembered when Alex said he was his hero when he was younger and how that always stuck with him. That definitely had us tearing up a bit! We also loved when Alex accidentally said “sexty” instead of “sixty” when talking about his grandparents anniversary. It had the whole room, including his grandparents laughing.
There was a pretty epic Michael Jackson dance off during the reception, which was lots of fun!
Congratulations again Natalie & Alex!
