It is hard to narrow down a favorite couple since we work with so many awesome couples on their big day. It is easy however to say that Shereen and Chris are one of our favorites 🙂 From the moment we began our day at the hotel, Shereen was bursting with excitement that we were there to capture her special day. When we started to photograph her dress she was practically jumping up and down saying “Josh has my dress! I can’t believe this his happening!” Then coining the term/hashtag #teamtrolio. It seriously means so much to us when our couples are as excited as we are about the photography.
The day was off to a great start at the beautiful Comfort Suites in Youngstown. The details were gorgeous and Shereen was glowing. She even got to facetime with some family from out of the country so they could send their love.
Then we headed to St. Patrick’s Church in Hubbard to meet up with the guys and prepare for the wedding ceremony. Chris was calm and collected on the outside but I am sure he was feeling anxious about their photo together before the wedding. They stood back to back with a door between them so they could say hi and hold hands before the ceremony. It was such a great moment for the two of them. The ceremony was beautiful. I must admit that we love this church for its amazing natural light.
After the formal family photos we headed out to Butler Art Museum in Youngstown to photograph the bridal party. We even had two honorary bridal party members join us for a few pictures 😉 We love when our couples include their dogs because as dog parents our selves, we know they are an important part of their family. Not to mention what better excuse to buy such cute bow ties haha.
Our next stop was Ursuline High School for a few Alumni bridal party pics. It is always great to personalize your wedding with meaningful locations to make the day that much more special. Plus what better way to celebrate the wedding then to ring Ursuline’s victory bell!
The reception was breathtaking. The room was transformed into Shereen’s purple dream come true. Her reaction to the decor as she walked into the room says it all. Then as the toasts wrapped up, her maid of honor revealed that Chris had a surprise for his new wife. Not just him but all of the guys in the bridal party had learned the choreography to one of her favorite Spice Girls song! After a few moments of taking it all in, she couldn’t help herself and had to jump in and dance with them. We could tell she was having the time of her life and that is just how it should be on your wedding day!
We want to congratulate Shereen and Chris on their awesome wedding and thank them both for allowing us to be part of it!
