Tara & Tyler and their family & friends are so awesome! They made the day so much fun. We started off at Tara’s parent’s home for her getting ready photos. They did the Italian tradition of breaking the plate on their way to the church. Tara’s mom broke the plate and the bridesmaids threw the contents onto Tara. We did some research and hopefully our research is correct. The number of broken fragments symbolize how many happy years of marriage the newlyweds have ahead of them. The plates were full of rose petals (symbolizing tenderness), candy (symbolizing sweetness), and money (symbolizing richness). Throwing the contents symbolically passes these same qualities onto the bride and groom and their life as a married couple.
Their ceremony took place at St Michael Church in Canfield. We love Tyler’s reaction to seeing Tara walking down the aisle. We also loved his energetic fist pump after their first kiss as husband and wife.
After the ceremony we headed to Fellows Riverside Gardens for their bridal party photos. We also got to go to the Youngstown sign downtown by the Covelli Centre.
Their reception took place at Waypoint 1480. This was our first time here and the venue is gorgeous! All of their reception decor was so pretty. We loved how they had all of their cookies and donuts safely packaged for their guests to enjoy. We also loved the little limoncellos Tara’s dad made as favors. Everyone had so much fun all night!
Congratulation again Tara & Tyler!
